About THENN

THENN is a contemporary womenswear label shaped by a friendship of more than twenty years between two creative partners. One is a Chinese fashion designer whose couture practice turns emotion into precise form; the other is a global brand builder who has spent years creating worlds for others and is now helping to create one of her own.

Their shared travels sparked an interest in garments and craft traditions that use line, drape, restraint and ornament with intention. THENN brings this curiosity into conversation with Chinese pattern, tailoring and handwork, while treating the abaya as a living garment shaped by personal, cultural and religious meaning.

Each piece balances structure and fluidity. Some are quiet and easy to layer; others use shimmer, brocade, fringe or transparency to hold a room. Rather than prescribing one way to dress, THENN designs for choice: how a woman wants to move, cover, reveal, celebrate and change.
